Water Design Engineer

Requirements

∗ Minimum of 5-10 years experience in the water industry and /or within a Consultancy Environment.
∗ Degree in Civil Engineering.
∗ Previous demonstrable design capability on water projects (water supply networks, sewerage systems pumping stations rising mains, storm water and treatment plants)
∗ Ability to utilise water/wastewater hydraulic design models and surge protection analysis
∗ Ability to work well in a team environment.
∗ Good communication skills (both oral and in writing)
∗ Good command of the English language

Responsibilities

∗ Work independently to produce designs and specifications as part of a project team working on water/wastewater engineering projects.
∗ Provide support to other project teams on more complex projects.
∗ Direction of staff to finalise projects and assisting in the preparation of bids for clients.
∗ Development of time and cost schedules for projects, required for bids for preliminary design, engineering design and detailed design of projects.
